Ralf Helmut STAMMSEN has a doctorate in zoology and ethology, a discipline for which his thesis professor was the famous Austrian ethologist Konrad Lorenz, known among other things for his work on geese. The first scientific equine ethologist in Europe in the 1980s to demonstrate that we can take care of horses differently, he is also one of the inspirations for the English writer Nicholas Evans for his novel "The Man Who Whispered in the Ear horses" who contacted him and met him in France. He was interested in his work alongside that of other American horsemen of the era such as Tom Dorrance, Ray Hunt, Buck Brannaman and Monty Roberts. This incredible ability to communicate with horses led him to whisper in the ear of Robert Redford. On the set of the feature film inspired by the book, he takes care of one of the eight stallions. Employed by the American government, he subsequently broke approximately 2,000 wild horses (mustangs). Throughout his career as a horseman, he took charge of some 5,000 difficult horses. He breaks a wild horse in 20 minutes by communicating with him without any violence, without harness, without rodeo. The secret: communication with the horse while respecting its nature and knowing its behavior. He completed his equestrian knowledge alongside Jean d'Orgeix, one of the greatest French riders. After 40 years of passion, rich in almost half a century of knowledge, he finally took the time to share with us his exceptional knowledge of horses in 2 event books entitled "Be a horse" and "Ride a horse without ever falling" .

"As the years went by, I no longer saw the point in horse riding, either in practicing it or in teaching it. I realized that more and more things were illogical and unnatural for our bodies. which made the orders contradictory for the horse. Why do things so complicated when you just want to enjoy a ride with your horse in complete safety? I don't want to be a dressage champion! And with age, an apprehension of more and more often telling myself "I don't want to fall, because I risk hurting myself and no longer being able to cope with everyday life." So with this thought in my head, I could no longer be 100 percent relaxed and I I no longer enjoyed riding, which saddened me because I used to enjoy riding. This course highlighted and answered all the questions I had, or even more, and allowed me to have answers and above all a technique to be clear, precise, with total respect for the horse, and in safety. Exactly what I had been looking for for a long time because I had been fiddling around to get this for a few years in my area and the only thing I had gotten was to no longer do anything correctly. A big thank you to Dr Ralf Helmut STAMMSEN for passing on his knowledge and research to us." Stéphanie G.(79-Fr)
"Being a semi-beginner, with a nice fall under my belt, I signed up for this course with a very specific goal: to hold on in the saddle. These three days of training went well beyond my expectations. A learning of techniques totally new to me. A questioning of all my acquired knowledge. I received all the keys to never falling again. Of course, I am far from having corrected all my faults in three days but practice will help. J I was in a period of demotivation and no longer saw myself evolving. Dear Doc Helmut, thanks to you, I experienced training rich in equine advice but also in human sharing. I feel reboosted and confident. What could I do for you? say more than THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. (And...I'm a super girl 😉) " Anne-France P. (Belgium)
"Following the course, I radically changed my way of thinking about riding, of riding, of approaching horses, it is both a great upheaval and a revelation! I found my mare changed, truly transformed .. With this new approach, she is much calmer, zen, determined. Everyone looks at us a little strangely because I ride without a bit (I even went hiking for a day last Sunday, without a bit, she was top!). I'm working to put all the advice into practice and above all to relax on horseback and it feels good! The last session before Saorie went to the park was really very pleasant, it was like chewing gum under my butt that I could move and shape as I wished. In short, a big thank you!” Mélissa C. (57-Fr)
"It was a magnificent experience, enriching both on an equine and human level. Doc Helmut is a person who captivates you with his experience, his charisma, his simplicity. His way of explaining things through his scientific side at the same time but by its very own side makes this course very, very fascinating and captivating. Learning to know the horse and knowing how to ride well by knowing why and how to use such techniques, such positions, such exchanges, such communications, such materials. How to be and becoming the "dominant" woman horse is the key to success and for this Doc Helmut is the right person. I take away a lot of positive things from this course. Looking forward to the 3rd course! I thank Doc Helmut for to have been able to ride at the end, bareback and bitless, what a joy!” Saskia B. (Belgium)
“I am really happy to have been able to participate in the course because it gave me essential and essential information on what to do to stay in the saddle in all circumstances. Dr STAMMSEN is really an interesting person, who says things and who has a lot of knowledge. The information is provided in a clear and very telling way with concrete examples. Practice allows us to assimilate and feel things well. Many thanks for this transmission of knowledge which will be given to me very useful." Alexandra C. (79-Fr)
